The Green Reel Film Festival

The City Playhouse rolls out 'The Green Cartpet' and invites you to share in a collection of award-winning and celebrated films about the environment. Admission includes a marketplace of 'green' vendors, environmental group kiosks, demonstrations, contests and refreshments. Fun and informative for all ages.

Tickets range from $4.00 for a single screening up to $18.00 for a two day pass. Select screenings are free.Call the Box Office for film schedules and descriptions.

The Blind Boys of Alabama

The Blind Boys of Alabama, winners of four consecutive Grammy awards, have spread the spirit and energy of pure soul gospel music for over 60 years, ever since the first version of the group formed at the Alabama Institute for the Negro Blind in 1939. Today, they are on a mission to expand the audience for traditional soul-gospel singing while incorporating contemorary songs and innovative arrangements into their hallowed style.
