Unionville Hosts Heritage & Big Band Festival
Main Street Unionvillle will be open only for pedestrians on Sept. 3 for the Heritage and Big Band Festival. Visitors will be entertained by five big bands including The Hurricanes and the Thornhill Swing Band. There will also be historical re-enactments of life in the 1800's.
The festival runs from 10am -6pm.

PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT AND SIGN OF MARKHAM STOUFFVILLE HOSPITAL'S FUTURE TO BE UNVEILED
TORONTO - The Honourable David Caplan, Minister of Public Infrastructure Renewal and President and CEO of Markham Stouffville Hospital Janet M. Beed will make an important announcement about the Markham Stouffville Hospital redevelopment project. The Honourable Michael Chan, Minister of Revenue and MPP for the riding will join in unveiling a pre-construction sign as a landmark of support for this important community development.
