This event is a five stage car rally for show participants and other car enthusiasts who wish to participate in a fun, light hearted 90 minute "Sunday Morning Drive" in the local Markham Rd. area.
The event is a combination of some of the more fun aspects of car rallying and includes a Navigational Poker Run with a Scavenger Hunt theme and a few extra surprises to keep the event light hearted and fun for all participants.
Registration for the Rally Component is $50.00 per vehicle with all fees collected going directly to the Thomas & Tallis Charity Foundation supporting programs for youth sport and education in Markham.
Space is limited to the first 40 vehicles, car show participants will depart first and have a reserved location for there vehicle on main street at the completion of the rally.
Prizes will be awarded on the Main Stage to the car (Driver and Navigator) in three categories for the most points collected based on each leg of the course.
The categories are Over All Winner, Vintage Car (Most Points in Class) and an open class Poker Run.

Markham Youth Theatre presents, "Into the Woods," the Broadway musical that brings together the story of a baker & his wife, Cinderella, Little Red Ridinghood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel. Full of enchanting songs and magical scenes, Into the Woods will be an energetic, fun, and captivating experience for the audience!

You, your family and friends are cordially invited to 31st Annual Thornhill Village Festival on Saturday, September 15th, 2007 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Thornhill Village Festival provides a venue for its community groups and citizens to get together to celebrate its heritage and historic community on the streets of Old Thornhill. The 1st Thornhill Festival was held in the Queen’s Silver Jubilee Year of 1977.
To begin the day, there is the Thornhill Village Festival Run. The Run uses the paths and trails of Pomona Valley Park.
View the wonderful community parade and sample the many varieties of food available.
A wide variety of entertainment is provided.
More than 125 crafters and food vendors are placed along the side streets located on both sides of Yonge Street.
The Festival Parade, which involves so many individuals and groups in the community, begins at noon and runs till about 1 p.m.
Yonge Street is completely closed from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the Parade. Side streets in the Festival area, including Centre Street, is closed from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Festival Parade highlights its community with performers, antique cars, and bands. Many of the bands will be also performing after the Parade.
Don't miss the recreated action battle scenes by the King’s Royal Yorkers. The battle area is marked off.
There are also beer and wine gardens with entertainment.
Food and beverage stalls will be located throughout the Festival.
Kids can enjoy the children's rides, petting zoo, pony rides, and challenging activities.
The Thornhill Village Festival is organized by the Society For the Preservation of Historic Thornhill.

Markham Museum's Largest Family Event of the Year
